KidLit 4 Black Lives
The world is a really confusing place right now. I always turn to books when things get that way. The Brown Bookshelf, a collective of authors & illustrators that raise awareness about race and literature, put together an online rally of famous authors and illustrators and artists talking about the current situation. The first hour is for kids- and there is a wonderful list people you're probably familiar with from library. The second hour is more for adults and talks about how grownups can support anti-racist work.
I hope you'll take some time to watch this beautiful celebration of Black culture and art this week.
