Strictly No Elephants!

Well, the rain is back. No more skating, no more bike riding or rolling around in the grass.... For now anyway! I guess that means its a perfect time to snuggle up on the sofa and read some books. And maybe make some drawings. 

(Are you too big for read alouds? Nonsense. everyone loves being read to! But if you are feeling that way today, you can always go back and do my Digital Escape room!)

Today's read aloud recommendation is for Strictly No Elephants written by Lisa Mantchev, illustrated by Tae-eun Yoo. This is a very sweet book. It's about friendship and loving people (and animals!) for who they are. It's about being a thoughtful, caring friend. I love the drawings and the colors so much. 

Watch this read aloud video and then you can do a little activity! Tell me how you are thoughtful! Make a drawing or write a sentence about how to be a good friend. You can send it to me in an email or upload it to your teacher, if you'd like.
