May 19th, 2020 Taika & Friends

Now many of you have probably heard of James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl, maybe some of you have even read it. Or seen the movie, perhaps. But you've never heard it like this! Taika Waititi is a very famous, very funny actor and director from New Zealand. He has rounded up a bunch of friends- well, famous people- to do a live reading of the book. I have just finished the first episode, which co-stars Nick Kroll and Chris and Liam Hemsworth. It is AWESOME! It's funny and silly and totally entertaining. 

If you don't already know the story of James and the Giant Peach, it is a tale of a young boy who escapes his horrible, mean aunts by way of a enchanted fruit and a troop of strange, magical friends. He has an epic adventure that is in turns exciting and terrifying, sad and beautiful. 

Each episode is about 18 minutes long and there will be 10 total episodes. I *highly* recommend you take a few minutes and watch the first episode... you'll be hooked!!! New episodes will come out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so stay tuned!
